Engineered Coatings, Inc. (ECI) is an R&D business dedicated to the development of new coating materials, coating deposition methods, and solutions to coating problems encountered by U.S. Government agencies. Consequently, most of the work performed by ECI has been under contract or grant from the U.S. Government, but ECI retains the intellectual property (IP) rights associated with this contract work. NanoCoatings, Inc. has negotiated a license from ECI to leverage this technology for commercial applications.
